Our 1st V.I.P Fest warmed up the dancing shoes !

Our 1st V.I.P Fest, aimed at our Very Important Pensioners couldn’t of been any better, with local elderly guests making there way to the venue with their chairs ready to Rock ‘n’ Roll.  The British weather didn’t disappoint us, as the sun shone throughout the mid-evening entertainment, which started with local Bingo caller supremo, Graham Walker, having a bit of prize Baa ! Baa! Bingo fun with our crowd. Then the guitars, drums and amplifiers we’re treated to the sounds of one of the UK’s best tribute acts, Into the Shadows, who covered The Shadows and Cliff Richard classics. A DJ set of great Rock ‘n’ Roll and 60’s songs got the crowd on their feet, with a beautiful harmonic vocal set from our Frank Sinatra tribute act, ‘Let Me Be Frank’  ‘I haven’t danced like that for some time, it was just great to see so many happy faces enjoying themselves. We can’t wait until the next one’ said Terry & Doreen Leach from Penn.
